for those of you who can play this song on a guitar im wondering how long it took you guys and what difficulty level would you post it at , i know im at no skill to play it but i frickin love the song

I definitely cannot play it but as far as Marty's solo's go ya better learn how to sweep pick.

I can play the rhythm parts pretty half-assedly, but I'm not even gonna try the solos. Took a while.

The rhythm sections aren't too difficult. Intermediate at best, but the solos are definitely advanced.

I mistakenly started trying some of Marty's solos at about the year and half mark and failed miserably. I came back to some of them around the four year mark or so, and most of his solos from Rust In Peace aren't too difficult with some practice.

I started working on it last time I seriously played any guitar, I should try to pick it up again.

a year and a half and a fail , im only around 9 months or so , id try the rhtyhm too it but that wouldnt be enough they song needs the solos too make it correct , yeah i think il leave it for a few years , gonna stick with some easy metallica solos for now

The rhythm is still some great practice with which to improve in other areas besides just lead playing, you shouldn't pass it over just because you can't play the solos.
